The Certified Management Accountant (CMA) USA is a globally recognized professional certification in management accounting and financial management. It is awarded by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) in the USA. The CMA USA certification is designed to validate expertise in financial planning, analysis, control, and decision-making. 

Eligibility and Requirements:

  • Education:

    A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is generally required to become a CMA. 

  • Exam Fees:

    There are entrance and exam fees associated with the CMA program, which vary based on membership status (professional, student, or academic). 

  • Exam Registration:

    Candidates can register for the CMA exam through the IMA website

  • Two-Part Exam:

    The CMA certification is achieved by passing two exam parts: Part 1 focuses on financial reporting, planning, performance, and control, while Part 2 covers strategic financial management.
